Silver Bracelet is a gracious navigator from beautiful the hood. He leads a carefree life. However, all that changes when Silver books a summer holiday to noisy Sludgeside.

At first Silver finds Sludgeside very grey. Then there's the mysterious, generous author, Handmade Ring, who makes him feel scared.

When Handmade invites him on a hopping expedition, Silver begins to realise that Handmade is a deeply noble and delightful man.

Silver knows in his heart that Handmade is the man for him. However, to secure his happiness, Silver must fend off the thoughtless private detective, Necklace Earrings, who wants to get his claws into Handmade.

Using her scheming aardvarks and a mutual love of life, Silver sets out to snare Handmade once and for all. But will the generous navigator return his affections?
