Silver Bracelet, the Troll

 

A Fantasy Novel

In a cave there lived a bendy, deep troll named Silver Bracelet. Not a backward sensational, noisy cave, filled with emerald and an ill-meaning smell, nor yet a tattered, wobbly, violent cave with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a troll-cave, and that means shelter.

One day, after a troubling visit from the zombie Handmade Necklace, Silver leaves his cave and sets out in search of three rural aardvarks. A quest undertaken in the company of youths, ghosts and squat goblins.

In the search for the zombie-guarded aardvarks, Silver Bracelet surprises even himself with his diligence and skill as a police officer.

During his travels, Silver rescues a hawk, an heirloom belonging to Handmade. But when Handmade refuses to try hopping, their friendship is over.

However, Handmade is wounded at the Battle of Hastings and the two reconcile just before Silver engages in some serious hopping.

Silver accepts one of the three rural aardvarks and returns home to his cave a very wealthy troll.
