 US scientists find a new species of dinosaur


The discovery of the new dinosaur species, named Diplodocus, means that scientists have found the oldest known dinosaur in North America.

 A man has been arrested after he allegedly tried to detonate a device at Queensland's state police headquarters. 

 At around 7.30pm on Wednesday, police were called by an anonymous caller who said that someone was armed with a pipe bomb inside the building in Brisbane where they are based. Police quickly surrounded the building, which houses the Queensland police, before evacuating everyone inside. They then sealed off an area around it. One person was arrested for disorderly conduct. It appears that a chemical substance was used inside the building as police were still at large on Wednesday morning.The Australian Securities Exchange said there had been a "significant incident" at the Mint in Sydney, Australia, and that staff were being evacuated.The building was evacuated after a suspicious package was found in the basement of the premises, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported. There were no reports of injuries.
